The Stroudsburg Islamic Center was founded in 1988 by dedicated members of the Muslim community. Islamic Center is committed to:

• Providing religious services encompassing all aspects of Islamic spirituality and worship in the best traditions of Islam
• Providing educational services to its members of all ages about their religious rites, culture, heritage
• Providing various types of community services that support and maintain the integrity of the Muslim Family
• Providing a supportive environment whose goal is to fulfill the growing needs of the Muslim individual and to provide a cohesive unity amongst the members of the Muslim community as a whole
• Providing and promoting positive relations and open dialog between Muslim and non-Muslim communities; Inter-faith communications, community support, and to openly share and communicate the true and global message, culture, and teachings of Islam to the community at large.
